The name Ÿvneh Shapm Ckez is derived from the Dwarven language, as Ÿvneh Shapm Ckez was founded by Amdirbarad Cåqcebackhu, who was culturaly Dwarvern.

Ÿvneh Shapm Ckez was founded durring the late 15th century in fall of the year 1457, by Amdirbarad Cåqcebackhu. The establishment of Ÿvneh Shapm Ckez was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Ÿvneh Shapm Ckez's construction back out of the project. Amdirbarad Cåqcebackhu pushed on reguardles, and Ÿvneh Shapm Ckez was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Ÿvneh Shapm Ckez was built using the conventions of Dwarvern durring the late 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Ÿvneh Shapm Ckez is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Ÿvneh Shapm Ckez is buildings are arranged arround a network of crampt paverstone streets which form a diamond shaped grid, where each diamond verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller diamond has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town is protected by a series of wooden fences ringing the town's parimiter, which are likly intended to keep varrious beasts out of town rather than protect it from attack by any intelegent agents. Astonishigly, the bare minimum defences are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.

Your first impression of Ÿvneh Shapm Ckez proves to be right on the money. This town is where the rebels chose to settle. Fashion trends are quite simply the opposite of what’s popular in the other nearby communities. THis trend extends everywhere. Things that should be black are white, what would normally be square is organically curved, and what is typically unthinkable for polite society is more than welcome in this public square. Up to the logical limits, of course. There’s no flaying someone alive to eat their skin going on, but the women are dressed a little immodestly, the men are a little more emotional, and the food is all overly complex and terrible.

Cultural Notes

Ÿvneh Shapm Ckez's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by vertical proportions, pointed arches, external buttressing, and asymmetry in the general shape of its buildings. The decorative features of the style were key, consisting of large arched windows, pointed arches, vaulted ceilings, flying buttresses, and sculptures integrated into the structure itself. Occasionally, for very important buildings, an array of sculptures or one colossal sculpture might replace the entirety of the entrance to said building.

The eruption was isolated to the area around Ÿvneh Shapm Ckez, which was swallowed in ash, lava flows, and pyroclastic gasses. Ÿvneh Shapm Ckez lost 261 people, 362 livestock, and 37 buildings in the disaster. The event is forever remembered as the Day of Heartbreak's Wrath.

History
